Titans coach Neil Henry has said he expects his side to play a “top-notch” game in Round 2, but his side has suffered a massive blow as a result.

“We’ve lost two of our three finals,” Henry said.

“So that’s been a massive loss.”

“The game’s really important for us to get out of here in the first half of the season with a positive mindset and not to be feeling the loss.”

The Titans lost a crucial game of finals rugby league when they were swept by the Dragons in 2017.

The Jets were beaten by the Wests Dragons in Round 1 and lost in the grand finals to the Sydney Roosters last year.

They’ve had three straight finals defeats in the last five seasons, with their last defeat coming in Round 10.

Tigers coach Nathan Brown said his side would be looking forward to taking on the Titans, and the game would be important for the club.

“The NRL final is a really big game, and it’s a really important game for us,” Brown said.

“We’re really excited about that.”

It’s not going to be easy, we’ve had a long run, but we’re definitely going to come out and be ready.

“The NRL will play three games in four days, starting on Sunday, with a three-day break between Rounds 4-6.

The game will be broadcast live on ABC Radio NSW and on FOX Sports and the ABC News app.

The NRL is not allowing live streaming of the final to be used, but the live stream will be available via NRL.com and on NRL Mobile.
