‘House of Cards’ creators: We’ll do more with ‘House’ sequel, and it won’t be an anthology

The showrunners behind House of Cards have said that they’ll do additional stories for the upcoming second season of the Netflix series.

“I think we have more stories that we’d like to do, but that’s not a guarantee that we’re going to do them in the series,” Kevin Spacey, who played the title character, said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“And it’s really not going to be an all-time classic.

And it’s not going be the story that we wanted it to be, but it’s a story that you can relate to, so we’re really excited to get back into it.”

He added that the show will continue to explore the political machinations of the Trump administration, and that the writers are confident that they’re not going down the path of “just doing more House of cards” or “just rehashing” what happened in the first season.

“We’re doing the story in a different way, and hopefully we’ll be able to do that,” he said.

“It’s really about telling a story.

And that’s what we’re doing.”

House of cards will return for its second season on April 29.
